Restore Depth. Darken Your Fingerboard. Naturally.
LORE® Relic Wax is specially developed for unfinished musical instrument fingerboards. It contains an added stain to darken the wood and restore a natural depth to the grain — giving aged or dried-out fingerboards a rich, lush appearance.
Unlike most darkening products, LORE® Relic Wax contains zero petroleum distillates or derivatives. Organic carrier oils nourish the timber while the stain works its magic.
What It Does
- Darkens unfinished fingerboards naturally
- Restores depth and lustre to the grain
- Nourishes timber with organic carrier oils
- Zero petroleum distillates or derivatives
- Won't stain binding or inlays (always test first)
- Not suitable for finished fingerboards (e.g. lacquered maple boards)
How to Use
Apply LORE® Relic Wax to your fingerboard liberally and let it sit. For best results, leave overnight. Buff off the excess to reveal a darker, richer fingerboard.
Important: Only use on unfinished fingerboards. Not suitable for any surface with a finish.
